What Is Raw Hair?
Raw hair is 100% unprocessed human hair collected from a single donor. It has not been altered with chemicals, steam, or silicones, allowing it to remain in its most natural state. Raw hair is available in natural straight, wavy, and curly textures. Because it is completely untouched, no two bundles are exactly alike—this is what makes raw hair the highest quality hair available.
What Is Virgin Hair?
Virgin hair is 100% human hair that has never been chemically treated but may be lightly processed for texture consistency. It is carefully selected to maintain strength, softness, and longevity while offering a more uniform appearance across bundles. Virgin hair provides a beautiful balance of quality, versatility, and affordability.
How Long Do Raw & Virgin Hair Last?
With proper care and maintenance:
- Raw hair can last several years and potentially a lifetime
- Virgin hair typically lasts 1–3+ years, depending on usage and upkeep
Proper washing, conditioning, and storage will significantly extend the life of both hair types.
Can Raw or Virgin Hair Be Colored?
Yes. Both raw and virgin hair can be colored, toned, or dyed.
- Raw hair can be lifted as light as 613 blonde
- Virgin hair can also be lightened, though results may vary slightly depending on the original shade and processing
We recommend professional coloring for best results.
How Many Bundles Do I Need?
The number of bundles depends on your desired fullness and length:
- 3–4 bundles recommended for lengths 18”–24”
- 4–5 bundles recommended for lengths over 24”
For fuller looks or custom units, additional bundles may be preferred.
